Lantern Years collects account details, contact information, context about the person using the home, guided question answers, home photos, plan notes, family task information, referral details, and payment-related status needed to create and manage a home plan.

Home photos, room notes, plans, and task boards are treated as private dashboard content. Access is limited to the signed-in family account, invited participants when enabled, and Lantern Years team members who need the information to prepare, review, or support the plan.

Families may choose to share health-adjacent details such as mobility, falls, routines, caregiver support, and home setup concerns. Lantern Years uses this information to prepare planning content and to determine when remote review may not be appropriate.

Lantern Years may use service providers for hosting, file storage, payments, email delivery, analytics, and support. These providers should receive only the information needed for their role, and sensitive home or health-related details should not be placed in analytics events.

Lantern Years is designed around authenticated access, private file handling, server-side signed photo URLs, and limited logging of sensitive details. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so families should avoid uploading information that is not needed for the home plan.

Lantern Years is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, has fallen and may be injured, or needs urgent medical care, call emergency services or a medical professional rather than using the Lantern Years dashboard.
